Ouch, I had that problem with the last top I did. I tore it apart so many time I thought I would scream.
I finally walked away for a few days.
I'm sorry your having difficulties. Somedays are just like that. I think we have all been through it.

Probably so.

I feel your pain. :XD:

I know how frustrated you are. I did a Jacob's ladder which should not be a hard quilt pattern to make. But I am sure I took that whole queen size quilt apart more then once. I like to chain piece so I would get started and sew a whole bunch together and then realize I had sewn them on the wrong side. So frustrating.

I think the thing to do is pin them all together than sew them. I hardly ever pin anything and that is why I got them all sewed together wrong. All it takes is to pick up the pieces and turn them when you put them in the machine and they are all wrong.

Have a rest maybe it will go better later.

I'd keep working it the same way....scrappy quilt.

Hope your day gets better. Mine started out similarly, with me realizing that I had made my "frame" for my framed 9 patch first too small....then too big....now its "just right."

Ouch!! Hope your day goes better. Sometimes when I have to pull an all nighter(work 36 hours straight)and I get so wound up I need something to unwind before falling asleep. I have been know to sew 4 patches and ended up doing the same thing or worse. Now I just sew some strips until I get tried and leave it at that. Good luck with all your future days.

I learned early on not to do any quilting in the middle of the night. I can read or watch tv or play computer games but no sewing!

LOL!!! I sewed a bunch of blocks together incorrectly yesterday and I wasn't even tired!!! Me and Mr. Seam Ripper took them apart, and apart, and apart. Then resewed them together wrong again. Grrrr. Mr. Ripper stayed with me the whole time until I got it right!

Yes, this happens to me too - too frequently! Sometimes I think I'm just losing it and that quilting is too frustrating to pursue, but then I always try again the next day.
