Thanks so much for the manuals, Shelrox, and to you Feathers for the adapter link. I feel my adrenaline pumping, ehaw!

Thank you so much, this is going to be fun learning all the new babies tricks and putting her to work. She is lucky #13 in my home and hope to spoil her rotten

you might find a manual
I've used industrial machines - it is the same as anything but you go faster - learn to control the speed before you do anything else.

Ok I am proud to announce I finally went to my friends today and picked up my baby. Now I need to find a motor for it for the seller did not provide it. I am thinkimg of hooking it up to my treadle for the time being and this way I can get used to him, yes decided it is a male for only a man could come to do a job incomplete! :) From what i can tell so far it is super smooth and ready to go.

It might just do fine on a treadle. Sometimes you can find a motor on CL.

I got a second motor for mine at Habitat for Humanity resale shop for $10. I was planning to put it on a quilting frame, but got a steal on a 9" Brother first.

I have a 31-15 that I inherited from a friend whose aunt was a Home-Ec teacher and took it with her when she retired! I thought of selling it, but after finding this board, I'm going ty try it for FMQ!
