I think I read in one of my books last night it could be time to change your needle too.

I had my machine serviced and he said the timing was off a little. He also said a drop of oil in the bobin case every 2 bobbins. I try to do this. Does anyone else?? I clean the bunny's after every bobbin.

FYI A sewing machine needles life span is ONLY about 10 hours of sewing!!! Not until it breaks! Just think about how many times that needle goes in and out of the fabric. The needle will not only get dull, it creates a burr on the needle and you will get crummy stitches.

The price of a new needle is well worth the lose of aggrevation an old one can cause...
