I use my smallest one almost constantly. It works great to square up pieced blocks. Not too good to be true in my opinion. I have now boughten other sizes too.

Tell me more. Tell me more. I don't know what this ruler looks like. I'm curious.

Hello, fellow Winston.
I have three of them - - 1/2" increments in both a 12" and 18" length and 1/4" in a 12" length. I love, love, love both 1/2" increment sizes. However, do not care so much for the 1/4" increment because you have to fold your fabric so many times for it to work. Don't know why June Tailor did not make it as wide as the 1/2" increment. They are particularly great for cutting multiples of strips if you don't have a die cutter. KathDavis - you should do a Google search for June Tailor Shape Cut Ruler or go to this site for more information: http://www.junetailor.com/videos.htm |
I only have one but I love it....

Love mine -- I have the 12" and the 18" with the 1/2" increments. Did not buy the one with the 1/4" for some reason they targeted that at making fleece fringe and did not think anyone would want the full width.
It really helps with the cutting. |
Oh I'm so glad!! Lol. Yes I'm talking about the June Tailor one. Mine goes 1/2 increments and up to12 inches. I am so excited to cut now! Lol!

I think I have them all but I especially love the one that cuts 2 1/2 strips!

Wow! I have one of those rulers and have been using it all wrong. In fact, I gave up using it. Now that I have been enlightened, it will come out of the deep, dark corner of the closet I stored it in.
Thank you! |
People in my quilt group are so amazed that I can cut 5 or 6 strips for binding in less than a minute....no cutting and moving the ruler....no calculation....just a good clean cut, quickly. I love mine.
