I remember years ago my mother had and then I had a small 'sleeve size' ironing board that sat on top of the regular size ironing board and we used from ironing sleeves, when we all ironed everything....had mine for years and years and finally got rid of it....saw one in Goodwill the other day....and was now wondering if it would have any value with quilting.....So far my brain is not coming up with anything....but am just thinking it was such a nice little unique item...it must have other purposes in life......

I use mine now and then.

I used my all the time when I did heirloom sewing. But I haven't got it out in a few years. Can't think of a reason to use it in quilting. I have the hams and roll thing too.

My sister uses one because she makes doll clothes. I borrow it from her when making shirts for my Mom, but otherwise, never use one.

I bought one at a garage sale ... and no have never used it! For me, it's more a novelty, than a purposeful item.

Still have one and it's in the closet. I haven't found a use in quilting. I did take the tabletop ironing board with the little wooden legs and remove them so it lies flat on a cabinet next to my sewing machine. Great for pressing as you piece.

I only use mine when shorting sleeves or pantlegs. I'm short so this is a fairly frequent occurance.

I have one and use it quite often. Sometimes ironing my grandson's cotton shirts or when making little things like doll clothes or getting into a corner of something small I'm making. Also, mostly when doing hems on pants and shirts (I do alterations in my home)
