Grab bags were a hit at our guild's quilt show. A LQS donated items to put into these bags (notions, fabric, patterns, etc.) We sold them for $2.00 each. We also had some priced at $1 but the $2 went first.
Also table runners and table toppers were a big hit. |

I think e-reader cases would sell great. Here are photos of my Kindle case that a friend bought me. It is a Vera Bradley so cost a bundle, but wouldn't be that hard to make. It is a soft quilted cotton with a long zipper that curves around and has a small pocket inside for an ID card.

The covers to wrap around coffee cups are new and seem to be a hit. Bags with treats that have a little poem attached, such a starburst because you are so bright, a tea bag for the times you are in hot water, etc. I think you can find those poems on line. I have used osnaburg and cut it into 20 in squares, stitched a fancy stitch around the square about an inch inside the cut edge. Then stencil or embroider something in one corner and fringe the outside edges. These are used in bread baskets.

Thankyou all so much.

Thanks for posting the link for this pattern. I am always looking for gift ides for my great nieces and nephew.

Forgive me if this has already been suggested. Don't think I saw where anyone mentioned pillowcases. Some for whatever upcoming holiday would be good. I.E. Halloween, etc. Granny's love to buy stuff for the grandchildren.

I read through all of the suggestions and think the only new one I can think of is luggage tags. I passed a booth with them done in Laura Burch fabrics and also very bright fabrics. The lady said she had sold lots of them because people wanted them so they could easily spot their luggage and that dogs and cats were very popular.
Oh, how about casserole carriers and eye glass holders? |

What about cute baby bibs? And tea bag holders?

Crocheted or knitted dish cloths. The last one I have (1 of 2 given to me by my ex's aunt) is almost falling apart. I am in process of making a new one now. They are made from Peaches and Crème. Not sure if it is cotton or worsted but they last forever. Here is a link to their site and all kinds of free patterns.
