Ice, doctor, x-rays, rest, read, shop.
If the swelling doesn't go down, promise us you will go see the doctor. You don't want to let it go too long if it is broken. You need it to heal correctly. |
so sorry

I had a bit of surgery on my thumb in November. It takes a few days, but it's amazing how you learn to adapt to not using one of your fingers. I got to the point that I could actually keep the bandage clean. I was still doingyard work then.

You can use you wrist and forarm. I pulled my thumb out of socket, I hurt for five months while it healed, Two month I coulded do anything. then the pain eased up and I started useing arm. It works.

OUCHY....so sorry that happened to you! Hope it heals up soon for you. You should go in to the doctor if the pain doesn't go away soon.

Let your thumb heal and sit back and play the queen and let hubby do all the work that you cant do with your sore thumb!
|
Yikes! I sure you feel better soon! I sliced my thumb the day after Christmas making ham salad. Darn electric knive had a mind of it's own. I just put my quilting stuff away for a bit because I didn't want to risk getting blood on it or messing up my stitches cause my thumb was wonky. Funny ...I found plenty of other things to keep me busy. Good luck.
