ok was helping DH with antique tractor on a trailer a smashed my thumb, can't run by HQ, without getting sqiggley lines, thought about cutting out next quilt but think it will be difficult to hold ruler without thumb.

Since you hurt yourself helping him, maybe he could out your fabric for you. I wouldn't trust mine with that job, but yours may be handier. :D :D

sorry to say but looks like you might have to let this nite go by without quilting or cutting.. why dont you get caught up on your quilting books or magazines instead...

Hope your thumb gets better soon..

Ouch! I'm so sorry for you! Maybe spend a couple of days on the board or with mags?? Do you need to see the doctor??

Sorry about your thumb. I can relate, as I squished my finger in the wood splitter, and had to go on a hiatus from quilting.

Not sure, will know more when the swelling goes down, but it isn't changing any more colors today, there is a large dent in the side but can no longer see the knuckle lines and it just throbs when it's not above my chest.

Might be a problem when I go back to work it's my ten key hand.

Sorry to hear about your mishap! How about wandering thru quilt patterns and planning the next project? Or organizing fabrics/sewing room?
