I was going to suggest this too. I do this alot with Amazon just to see when a deal comes along

I was listening to Amazon sellers on TV a month or so ago and they said they can update prices as often as they want -- every minute or so if needed. I have noticed that if I look at something on Amazon and go to the Walmart site or some other site and look at the same thing then go back to Amazon a while latter the price has dropped. I have also noticed that if I leave items in the cart as save for later, the price rarely goes down but will inch up -- sometimes by pennies.

You are a targeted customer for Amazon. Anytime I want anything from Amazon, I do a search there first, then I wait a day or two and Bingo I get special notice of a price reduction (doesn't work on books). I love it.

that happened to me with an umbrella I was looking at at Lowe's. Went back on the website and the price was the same as on the site before. I was going to go to Lowe's and ask for the lesser price but never did.

Prices fluctuate on Amazon, I keep batting and other stuff I'm watching on my wish list, if the price drops to what I'm after I snag it immediately. Got a queen roll of warm company Soft & Bright batting for less than $80 that way. I'm watching a couple of machines that I've seen the prices go down by more than $200, debating a Juki 2010 or a Brother 1500

It doesn't always work that way. I recently had a book in my cart that went up over $5. Ouch. Right now I have a pair osf shoes showing up on the side that I looked at at $35 - now they are $45 and it's only been a few days.
If it's something you want, I'd grab it now.

Yes. I noticed that when I purchased my sewing machine on Amazon. I want to say it hit it's lowest point by October and I just couldn't say no to it anymore. Shortly after that the price went up considerably. No idea why but the price hasn't been that low since.
