Myrna---I live in GA---can you please tell me the name of the quilt shop in Buford that you visited?

I have a package of interlining that my quilt angel sent me from Japan. Apparently now it is in at the Moda Shop as well. You lay it on the material, sew on the lines in a grid pattern and then steam it to make the lining shrink and the material puff. I don't know what it is called because it is all in Japanese, but it is really cool.

I had seen someone use that Texture Magic on the center of an Iris in a quilt. It was really sharp. I wish I could remember if it was here on this board or on another board I saw it on. All I remember was that it was puffy and that the person stated that she kept wanting to touch it.

There's a thread out too. You sew on your fabric, maybe in a criss-cross pattern, then steam it and the thread shrinks. It's like shrink-a-dinks only with thread! Sorry, I can't remember the name, but I think a lot of places are carrying it now.

Okay, I have a shirt made from that material, It's really small til you put it on then it gets bigger.

Found the thread. It's called "The Incredible Shrinking Thread" and it comes in different colors. If you Google, you will find some reviews of it and samples.

I've seen this thread online for about $6. Shopper's Rule carries it, as do many other places.
