I;m trying something new.I finally got the courage up to try FMQ.I;m working on Dgs halloween quilt.I;ve agonized over this for a week,please wish me luck.When I get it finished I;ll try to post pics but must depend on DD because I dont know how.

I'm a "newbie" so please take heed. I'd just like to say that BECAUSE I'm a newbie, I honestly don't understand any of the various abbreviations you use. tell us what you have done to prepare or learn free motion quilting. Someone might then give you some suggestions to make it successful.

I starched and pressed. I used 505 and basted. I have done some stippling in sashing,but dont quite know what to do now.I would like to outline quilt,but what foot do I use?How do I go around the squares? HELP

I'm going to try my hand at fmq myself pretty soon as I am going to need it as part of the finishing touches in the baby quilt that I'm making. I've watched vedios and done extensive reserch in books. Now It's just a matter of practicing on scrap untill I get it right. Just wish my machine had a stitch regulater on it.
