Hm-m-m-mm-mm-m-m.........now THAT"S a consideration :thumbup:

I've made bags using upholstery fabric but remember to use a heavier needle in your machine. A size 16 needle like you use for denim works great and there's less chance of breaking the needle when you're trying to sew many layers.
Love the button idea....I'll have to try that.
