Don't forget paper piecing. My local library has several paper piecing books with great spiral patterns. Have fun.

Roolen has a star spin if that's what you want. Just search her name and you'll find it.

Look at the one that Kitsie put the link to...it's pretty much a round log cabin.

As you can see by all the answers above, there are a lot of spiral quilt patterns. Which one are you looking for?

This is a pattern for a spiral bargello tree skirt. If you want it to be a complete block, it would only take a bit of tweaking to make it so.

Thanks for the link! Love this and am going to try to go it as a table cover.

Funny... I have not been checking in lately as I have been really overwhelmed and busy. I saw a name of a book I wanted by Cheryl Phillips so was over on her website before I came here. I have used her method for a mariner's compass and was wanting something dif. for another round robin I am joining after the New Year. Her stuff is awesome. I think I have to go order some of her new tools. The spiral stuff is intriguing--the wedge ruler has a couple of patterns. I have done a tree skirt using a 10 degree ruler--in fact I made 4 of them. Lot of work but worth it.
