Pretty blocks, the black fabric really pops the color. I am going to watch the tute today.

There is no waste in Bethany Reynolds' method... :-)
I haven't done hers but my friend has and I didn't like the stacking part and pinning to keep in place. But hers came out beautiful but it wasn't anything I wanted to do. But I didn't mean there was waste I just mention that there wasn't any so you would know....and that you could use scraps or your turnovers or 6" squares. :) |

the tutorial is a bit confusing as the demonstrator is not making an actual "stack and whack" block. She is using the concept but using different fabrics to create the pinwheel pattern. You might search for pinwheel designs. It could be drafted on graft paper to determine the sizes of the rectangular pieces that will fit the triangles.
