This used batiks and Jason Yenter fabrics. The leading is 3/4" wide. The window patterns are in the Jackie Robinson book.

Every time I see this beauty I’m always in awe, a true work of art!

My mom and I have done a total of 4 stained glass quilts over the years. One of the ways we pick out the fabrics for them is auditioning all sorts of colors that we want to use in the project, then pick out are absolute favorites from the colors that we want for the quilt. Below is one of mine that I did about 7 years ago.

I was not able yo see the ones posted by Macy-baby, but the others are stunning. There's another one onto my bucket list

These pics give me too many ideas! I also have a glass studio set up. By the way, many sheets of glass are several colors swirled together.
I think either all solids or all swirls for a quilt would look great.

How do you select the fabric (colors) for a stained glass quilt?

I have a picture of one that I am thinking of doing. But I don't know how to get it to down on here.
and yes I will be using batiks.

I use marbled fabric that look like they are stained glass.
