My husband - I didn't have to even think on that one! 51 years and like the old saying goes "I love him more than yesterday, less than tomorrow." (Think about it).
My fabric and sewing machine may be my world, but my husband is my star. Edie |
I guess I would keep husband, After 51 years I am kind of used to him. But that stash is really nice and lot younger.

I would keep hubby--however I think he would seriously damage anyone who tried to come get my stash. Had a roof problem over my studio, he went out and bought a bunch of large containers, helped me load them and rented a storage unit for me until the roof was completely fixed, then hauled it all back for me and helped me put it back in order. My DH is definitely a keeper. Have kept him for 45 years so far.

I really really really like my stash, as small as it is. I'm new to the world of quilting and my stash isn't very big..YET!!!.....but I love my hubby, so I guess I'd have to say I'd keep him. I saw, I believe, here on the QB, a lady who organized her whole basement with bins and totes full of fabric. Her stash was quite impressive. Now, if I had her stash...I might have to reconsider, lol. I just put some fabric in the washer. I was told by the ladies at the quilt shop I shop at to use a mild detergent so I bought Ivory Snow. Ummmmm, I just rubbed my itchy nose and got a whiff of Ivory Snow.....Ummmmmm, wow, it's been a long time since I had the pleasure of smelling Ivory Snow. My son is 27. And what does this have with the topic here.....absolutely nothing! I just had to share my Ivory Snow story, lolol.....Sorry I drifted!

jeeese........hmmmmmmm.........uhhhhhhhhhh.

I guess I'm with most of you, I'd keep DH. I can always buy more fabric (and do!)
|
half to keep hubby and my stash cant be without either one
|
Don't have my husband any more, but if I hadn't had him I wouldn't be able to have the stash I have now, and the ability to buy more. I miss him dearly, as he was my sounding board in the sewing room.
|
I'll keep the hubby! He likes fabric too!
|
I'd give up my stash to have my Hubby back we had 46 great years, he's only been gone a year & I miss him every day.
|
Can't imagine life without my husband. I quilted before I had a stash. I realize that any day I could loose him, but giving up my stash won't keep him any longer, so I'm keeping both.

My very tiny, but important to me stash will take back seat anytime. I can replace the stash, can never replace the DH!

This is such a fun post!! After my cousin got divorced many years ago she told her Mother, my Aunt " No more men for me. Sue took the last good one" !!! :D:D
Warts and all, he's a great husband :D |
My partner is the best, couldn't live without him...stash would have to go...plus he keeps his eye out for material at the sales for me.
|
Keep my stash.
