Keep in mind that every plough may look slightly different, but this will give you the general idea of what to look for!

Thank you for the quick photo! Now I KNOW I don't have one, but certainly looks like I could USE one! SITD is hard for me, as I try to sew too fast!

Love my SID for my Janome 6600. I used it this weekend on a wallhanging. :)

Check out the manufacturer of your sewing machine. I have a SITD foot for both of mine.

They are well worth the $, and I love the job they do.

The foot has a little "plough" on it, that sits into the "ditch" and then you just sew along.
Once I have the needle position set so the stitches "are" in the ditch, then it's easy peasy to SITD!

I bought the foot with the little "plow" on it and one day it caught in the seam and bent in half.....was a waste of $22. With practice I hope to do as well without a special foot.....if I ever have time to "practice".
