I don't have very many so they are hung on wall, using round tip, long straight pins…. they don't leave put small hole when taken out. They do hold something as light as a ruler (also use them to hang up pictures)….

I have tried many different storage ideas over the years for the multitude of rulers and templates I have accumulated. What I do now is by far my favorite. I have big and long rulers hanging on my pegboard. But, here is the great idea: I bought 2 dozen clear plastic zipper pouches that go in a 3 ring binder from the school supply section of Walmart for less than $2 each. AND I bought a BIG 3 ring binder. Each of my specialty rulers or templates that will go in a pouch is put in one along with any instructions on its use. I feel soooo organized with that! They are soooo easy to find!
