Just understand that by "blankets", they mean things that can (and will) be washed in industrial washers and may not be "owned" by a particular individual.

As others have mentioned there will be a time and place. Not a bad idea to get started but so necessary to wait until FEMA says there is a need. That will be after temporary housing is in order for everyone.

Thanks for the link. We're moving and lots of quilts aren't going with us. Well maybe we could drive through Kentucky on the way to Florida from California, just to drop off quilts, not buy anything. If you believe that, there's a bridge in Arizona for sale. The trip is wide open as to where we go. Depends on weather.

What a great idea. I've wanted to see the mid-west. Dad's from Missouri. DH does geneology. Oh, this is looking up.
