You can make a carrot tablerunner for Easter. Think I saw it online at http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/projec...-runner_1.html

I used orange and brown for a log cabin quilt.

I used purple and orange for my great nieces hidden stars quilt. She told me she wanted a purple and orange quilt and I thought OMG. but it urned out quit pretty.

Also with yellows and peach. Use it with blues. Try orange, rose, soft purple, with touches of aqua on a pale yellow background. Use some of the strips as narrow borders/flanges in other quilts. Are the wide enough for bindings? Wow, I think you have a treasure! Jan in VA |

Do something for fall. Leaves, pumpkins things like that. Use the orange to its benefit. Maybe even a fruit table runner with little oranges on it.

I do a lot of rainbow Project Linus / Quilts for Kids quilts ~ maybe either do some charity quilts, or do a swap with someone and get the color you want? Oranges are hard to find, I know I am always hunting for them for the stash, and of my well-over-1,000-yard stash, I only have about 2 yards of oranges! (its just not a rainbow without it!)

I would love to swap with you. Orange isn't easy to find around here.
|
Add them to browns and golds for fall table runners, lap quilts or wallhangings.

Well, I made a small spiderweb for the table and one teardrop strip one for the bed. Had not made much of a dent but tired of it so passed to son and wife who each made a strip quilt and added some fabrics. Meanwhile, I now decide I am now in the mood to make another so am cutting more strips and NOW they tell me the box is comming back to me with more in it than when it started. Hummmmm think it will return on their door step when done.
