No more dispersions on cotton/polyester. Some of us do clothes as well as quilt. I like broadcloth and batiste for custom nightgowns and shirts. We'd welcome a bolt of such.

Sounds just like a man, my husband doesn't understand buying fabric cutting it, sewing it cutting it again and sewing it (disappearing hourglass etc) he asks why don't you sew it as it is , sometimes I wonder if we're the same species

Sadly, not just men. My wife, Lord love her, used my hoard of muslin as a drop cloth while painting my sewing room. I come home, there she is, so pleased she did this for me, standing on two yards of 109 w fabric.

I think a few of my friends and relatives who come though my sewing room feel the same way, but you know what?...to each his own. I love my "STUFF!"

I moved recently, I packed my fabric in plastic bends and carried them in my car with my china. I hated to think of any getting any smells or dirt on them.

Funny thing is... they think it's "stuff" and "junk"... but they ALL ask me to make quilts for them!!!
