great design... i'd use a white sashing border to float the design, then a dark blue border

Agree ... a narrow white border will help finish the letters on the edge (H and E). After that I kind of favor a wide red border then bind in blue. I say red because in the quilt the red is in the center whereas the blues are on the edges. The wide red border will help pull everything together.

This was my idea too, I just don't know if I will bind it with red or dark blue, will see what it looks like once the borders are on :) I was even thinking of giving the dark blue binding a white faux piping..... Will see.... Thanks for your input!!!

Some type of redish color would look great.

Nice quilt.

I'd suggest you layout all of the suggestions to see what appeals to you since your opinion is the most important. I would probably do a narrow background border (called floating border) then probably do the dark blue as border and binding. I prefer dark borders, they seem to frame the quilt body nicely but there are always exceptions !! Good Luck

I would put a 1" dark blue "stop " border and then a wider light blue border if you ave enough of that fabric- if not then use a lighler blue fabric in a similiar hue. color). I think that a white inner border would wash out the top.

I would add a white border first then one or more of your colors.
