It is a fun fabric and bold...I agree with Quiltnan, I would use it as a border in a wall hanging, otherwise, it would make a great main fabric for a tote. Hmmm...what about a tea cozy?

If you want to do a quick, fun large throw sized quilt, use it as the "main" fabric in the Villa Rose Designs "Honor" quilt...takes 5 1 yard cuts, makes a quilt that is 57 X 76...Goes together very quickly...and since you have fabric to go with it....

Maybe a kaleidascope cut quilt as it looks like a big enough pattern for that.

How about a lap quilt in the twister pattern, using solid coordinates with it?

I had material similar to this and I made a valance for my sewing room.

Very nice fabric. What about a Turning Twenty quilt especially since you have other fabrics that would go with your main fabric. Also, a tote of somekind-just realized you said you only have 1 yard. Please share pics when you decide.

Since your friend is also a quilter, I would stay away from throws and large projects. She probably has these already. But a machine cover, and surrounding pincushions, hanging pockets is a great idea! She is probably too busy quilting for others to actually make these practical items for herself. You probably know which machine she has but I have seen covers that simply tie on the ends so an exact size isn't necessary. It probably isn't covered that often anyway. Love your fabric, very cute. Post when done.

Look at the Biontic Gear Bag. Great for sewing notions.

I would make an reversible apron
