Can I use it in the loopers and needle of A surger? Thanks for any help.

Best way to find out is to try. I had not even thought of that but it would be great if it works. Let us know.

I have head if you use it in the wrong place on your sewing machine it can wreck it. Can't remember if its the bobbin or upper thread.

You can use almost anything in your loopers just use a net to cover your spools so the thread unwinds evenly. You may need to adjust the tensions a bit.

I took a class in doing perfect circles using it in both bobbin and top with no problems. At the class, we used high-end Brothers, but it works on my Kenmore/Janome too. The invisible threads have come a long way from the old kind that looked like fishing line!

thanks to all am doing a flag nd don't want to keep changing thread for the outer edge

people use invisible threads- top and bobbin---every day!
all you can do is give it a try and see how it works for you
i have a hard time with invisibles (sometimes) but found when i use (bottom-line) bobbin thread i do better--but my machine is quite picky/finicky---
sometimes i have to just slow down to work with it

who ever told you that probably had problems using it and decided it was (bad)
thousands of us use it daily -- top and bobbin--without issue.
