I kind of liked having it on my big ruler but the suction wears out after a while and it won't hold any more. I found it would help prevent cutting my fingers, but it was easier for the ruler to slip.

I bought one of those and it won't stay attached. I've cleaned my ruler and the suction cups and it still won't stick. I purchased the single-handled one with the one suction cup and it works great.

I have this exact one....it's frustrating, because it will not hold its grip for very long. I would NEVER use it in the shower, for this reason.
And yes...last summer, I cut the side of my index finger off...just missed slicing thro the nail. It took so long to heal! Was sensitive forever, it seemed. When I got home from the doc, I found the piece of finger on my cutting mat...dried up like a potato chip....amidst the puddles of blood....lol. Now I wear a glove, and always will.

It comes in 3 sizes, I use the medium and small one. I love them! No more worrying about my fingers being too close to the edge of the ruler and I don't notice!

I use one of these on our shower wall, when I have to bend over (dropped the soup or such), or to wash my feet, and to assist getting in and out - I have some trouble lifting one leg when stepping out of shower. Gives me stability.

I have one like it. It helps me to put even presser on the long ruler - find it keeps it from slipping.
Love it

I have been going to buy something for my husband to help him in and out of the tub since his stroke 4 years ago. Thank you for the idea..... Update...Have been reading the comments about the tub...guess I will just go buy a bar!

Get a real grab bar for your hubby. They are easy to install with a cordless drill and not expensive--(less than $30) I have put them up for my mother and some friends-- cause a fall is no fun. Look for the non slippery finish or wrap it with tape.

I have two as well, and love them both, I did put a few dabs of silicon to prevent sliding. Be sure to let it dry completely.
