I used it a couple times too. My problem is that I have it in a drawer and I never remember I have it.

I have one, I really like it. I have a top load bobbin too and it's no big deal to roll back one edge to change the bobbin. Makes a difference to me when I don't use it.

I love both of mine. I have a supreme slider for "Merlin" (brother Dreamcreator) and a regular slider for "Betsy" Singer Confidence Stylist. I can totally notice the difference when I don't use them. I have never had a problem with them not sticking. I do clean them often to get any excess lint off though.

I sewed 3 sliders into quilts. Expensive! Not fun to pick out either. I guess I must like sliders as I bought one more. This one, I tape down with blue Painter's Tape. Unlike others, even though I kept them clean, I did have a problem with them sticking. I have used my fourth slider for a year without sewing it into a quilt. The tape really helps me.

As I wrote in previous post, I have to be constantly cleaning it. It gets lint on it very, very easily & then loses its traction. The instructions say to use baby wipes to clean the back of it, to cut it to the size of your machine bed if you don't have a drop-in cabinet & to tape it down really well. I have the extra-sticky masking tape. I didn't follow the instructions about cutting it to size because I've asked my family for help building a sewing table for Christmas. I have some chocolate boxes surrounding my machine to provide a larger surface to support my quilts for FMQ.

If you get muscle cramps/fatigue from FMQ, I'd say the Supreme Slider is worth the cost. If you're just looking for something to improve your stitch quality, I'd move this tool down the list. Switching to Aurifil thread actually made more of a difference in the quality of my stitches than the Supreme Slider did.

I have one and use it all the time. I did start to forget it once and could barely handle the quilt without it. My vote is yes, it's worth the expense.

Bree123: good to learn about the Aurifil thread. I've never tried it, but I will if it makes a difference.

I use mine all the time.

I find polish works just as well. I have tried the slider it works very well with my juki, side bobbin. It is a nuisance with my brother and bernina both top bobbins.

I have one and I really like it. It works great for me

Ditto!
