I used it for a darling baby dress. the yoke was texturized (?). Personally, I didn't like the feel for clothing. it was too plastic-y for me. My cousin, whose baby it was for, loved it. It really does make a nice effect. I would use for a purse in the future, not clothing. JMHO

my question is will it untexturize if washed?

I saw this at my LQS just recently but didn't take the time to stop and check it out thoroughly. I will be there again on Tues and I will definitely stop now to see what it is all about. I think they even had a project done using this. Will keep you posted.

they were pushing it at our lqs and I thought and thought- it is very very pricey and there just has to be something else that would do the same thing for a fraction of the cost. you are essentially "melting" plastic that has been sewn to the fabric.

Interesting. Would like to see it demostrated.

I haven't used it yet but was planning to use it on the centers of a sunflower quilt.

One of the neatest projects we've seen using texture magic is the Serenity shoulder bag, using Cara Serenity fabrics and texture magic:

There is also another tote, made specifically for the TM product:

It's nifty stuff!

I have seen it used on purses, and applique

Seems like it would be an interesting product. I would love to see pictures when you try it.
