So, I was taking a friend into the city today for a mammogram, and on the way home, I called one of the members of our quilting group meeting at our church. (hubby was driving) She said, "You need to come by the church, Judy has some things for you." Ok, I figured oh goody, a little fabric, maybe a pattern to share, so we dropped by the church. Imagine MY surprise when they showed me two HUGE bundles of batting and said, "Those are for you"!!! (Money has been somewhat tight and I have not been able to buy batting much lately) Oh sure, it's mostly poly batt, not my choice but hey, it's batting and it was FREE!!! I have wall hangings and the like that need to be quilted. Fabric I have TONS of---largely due to the generosity of friends, but this was such a blessing!
