I've been following Susan for years online. She did a free online tutorial / class a couple of years ago, and I thought she is a great instructor. You get to see small successes very quickly as you work, which is encouraging enough to keep you going. She has many tutorials on youtube that you can watch to give you an idea of her teaching style.
