Taking votes for binding choice
2 Attachment(s)
What do you think?
I have solid yellow, solid red or the blue to finish this with. Or something else? Thanks ;) |
I like red for the pop effect. It will be beautiful whichever you chose.
You've done a beautiful job of making the reds "pop" with that inner border. What I would do is concentrate on making other colors "pop". That blue and pink backing fabric would be perfect, IMHO. A nice border of that would make the blues and pinks "pop", as well as adding a cohesive element to the quilt.
red for sure
did you see the flange binding? It was on here not too many days ago. And I know there is a tutorial that was linked here as well. I think using that method with red and yellow would be good.

Pink binding with a red flange would look good.
i think i would do red!
I vote for red, too.
I like the red. Cute quilt.
red
Yep that is my vote |
Another red vote here! Very pretty quilt.
I think red would be best
I vote for RED binding for sure!
Red to accentuate the inner red border!
Auddtion the colors. I think that the red may be too bright and pull your eyes to the red and away from the inner quilt blocks. Actually I vote for blue
red is not my colour , but, I do agree the red will work just fine, it will make the quilt pop!!
good luck. |
I say Red to match the inside red and to help it really stand out.
I'd say red, but if you do the flange binding, I'd put yellow inside with red. I've done the flange binding once, not hard, and it looks really nice.
Definitely Red.
I am generally drawn to a darker binding, without knowing the color of your blue, I vote red.
I vote for red! Nice quilt!
Sweet quilt. I vote for pink or blue.
I almost always use the flange binding, it is not difficult at all and it seems to tie it. I love the quilt, it is very pretty and very well done.
I would use the blue for a border, then red binding. This repeats what you have going on in the center and gives balance and cohesiveness to the quilt.
I think red also!
Red, because it would echo the 'framing' used in the center.
I like the red. It just pops and with the red framing in the center, it would look great!
I like the yellow. Whatever you do, it will be very pretty.
Any of those would work, but perhaps a blue to go with the backing fabric. Very nice quilt.
I think red too.. Love the quilt!
I like the red.
I AM STILL LAUGHING ABOUT THE DOG! My vote is red or pink.
Red will finish it up nicely.

! I was wondering if no one noticed the inspector's behind :) I did pink with red flange. I'll post a pic as soon as I get finished, I still have to quilt the center. Don't tell the quilt police I did the outside first, on this I'm working outside in :) |
Red. It has to be red as that is what popped out of my mouth the minute I saw that crisp, sparkling quilt.
My vote is for the red. I always try to use a dark/darker fabric for the binding since it gets the most use.
I vote for the red, it will frame the quilt very nicely
I think red will finish it beautifully
Red definitely.
