It's a lovely pattern & one on my "Someday " list. I like Annaquilts idea; bigger blocks & a smaller quilt! (I only make lap size anyway!) PP sounds great also! Go for it!

It is not that difficult to do. I encourage you to give it a go. Unfortunately, my browser prevents me from uploading photos at the moment.

It's been on my list for years, so you have to make one also.

You know you can paper piece it? Will make those tricky angles easier and bias problems disappear.

Do you have a source for a PP pattern for Storm at Sea? I have always LOVED this pattern and want to make one, too.

Hi! I PP'd one a couple of years ago. Pattern was by Cindy Edgerton. I checked her website, couldn't find it, but check this out http://www.generations-quilt-pattern...sea-quilt.html

Have fun!!!

I have made 2, both paper pieced. Turned out perfect, and they are beautiful. Give it a try.

They're very pretty, but I don't think I will be making one any time soon. Good luck if you decide to do it. Post a pic for all of us...maybe some will change their minds.
