What a heart warming story! God bless you for working with children and instilling in them the love of sewing/quilting.

So rewarding.................. and you should be poud of yourself and the kids.
Just seeing the look on their faces when they accomplish things is a reward in it's self.

That is wonderful!! I am teaching my oldest grandaughter who is 10. She loves it. I am not an experienced quilter but I teach her what I know. PM me your address and from time to time I will send you some supplies for your children. :-D :-D

This is so right. I'm curious. How old are the children?

I wish I lived closer to you so I could help you with all those new sewers. I would like to send you some themed fabric. Can you send me an address? I don't know how to send you a personal message.

There's nothing more rewarding than to have something you made yourself..hopefully theses kids will treasure this for the rest of their lives.....my hat's off to you

How wonderful to introduce the next generation to quilting. I've sent you a PM.

Can I send you some fabric-looking at my stash to see what I will realistically need in the next decade so I would be happy to share. PM me your address please if you want some fabric. Keep up the good work. My son is making a baby quilt out of scraps for his sister's friend right now-said he needed a break from homework yesterday and we are on spring break(cold and wet).

You are helping these kids make good memories one stitch at a time. But as in most things we do for others, the blessings you are receiving are limitless.
