golo8 loved your purses. I never seem to get used to the idea of calling them a purse, I call them a Handbag, a purse to me is probably what you call a wallet. Especially loved the batik, we have a similar product in Australia called "Shrink Magic" and you can get it with either a 15% or 30% shrinkage rate. What about making yourself a "murse"??!! That is a "man's purse". !!! LOL! I hope I don't hurt your feelings but, I do have a male student who has one. I teach nursing and he carries all his "stuff" for work in his murse. The first time he told me about it, I almost cracked up! I thought he was joking. I was thinking about something for a nurse since he was taking nursing but, the other students said no, he has a murse!

I just saw this demonstrated at a LQS. It is really neat stuff. You can form it and then iron it if you change your mind and then re-form it into something else if you want to. I think this is the same stuff?

No, you don't iron it. You sew it onto material then steam it...the steam shrinks the Texture Magic by 30% producing wonderful texture.

This is not the same thing. If you ironed Texture Magic, you would ruin your iron.

Also, you can't change your mind once it's steamed and shrunk.

Just bast the pieces down to the reverse side of project to be Textured and go. You are going to be stitching all over. I've stitched both on the reverse side of fabric by drawing the lines, as well as following the design in the fabric . I've stitches curves, straight lines in fabric and wavy stitches randomly. This stuff is great fun. Peg
