What a cute dotty quilt! I've found that dots can be great mixers, not solid but not quite a defined "print", either. I use them when I need some backgrounds or extras for kids' fabrics. They work so much better than solids.

I collect moderns-- Amy Butler Soul Blossoms right now, and also have a small collection of "Taza" by Westminster. I collect 30's reproductions and batiks, as well.

Absolutely love what you have done with your theme fabric. The designs looks like a variation to "Thinking Outside the Blocks". I am presuming the backing will also have Dots, don't forget to post pictures when you are done. Just another thing to put on the bucket list. My weakness is leaves, I seem to be drawn to them to the point I don't even know that a piece of fabric has leaves on it but from a distance something drawns me to it, and you guessed it, leaves.

I love your quilt. I don't think I collect any particular themes.

OMG, the dottier the better. I love polka dots as well. Your quilt is inspiring me to go even dottier. LOL I'll have to check out that book. Thanks for sharing. :)

I love Laurel Burch fabric - makes me happy just to look at it -all those beautiful vibrant colors. Strange think is I buy more than I use (maybe that isn't so strange, just a normal quilter's quirk)- everyone doesn't appreciate the colors as much as I do.

I LOVE polka dots too!! Then mottled fabrics, then leaf/vines, then stripes, then novelty, then,....well, you get the idea !!

I love Christmas themed fabrics, and I have a lot. I have also started collecting Halloween fabric.

I collect Asian and Amish-themed fabric. Much easier to find Asian fabric, but I enjoy the challenge of finding nice Amish fabric. My first bed quilt is made with an Amish scenery panel.
