I love your colors

oh heavens, you are too critical. This looks great! Be happy that you didn't make a huge visible error or spill black ink on it.

Your friend will be so delighted with it. I would be ever grateful to receive this wonderful quilt.

I love it and I am sure she will love it too.

What do you think is wrong with it? Looks lovely to me.

Who cares if it is or isn't photogenic :?:

What matters, is that it A: looks good close up, B: stayed together through the wash, C: is cuddly like you wanted it to be, D: is her colors and theme. Sounds like perfection to me!

Don't be hard on yourself - it's wonderful!

Close, but no cigar. She is the natural mother, but she loaned her wonderful son to me for a year when he came to Amerika. The Wall had just come down, and he got an exchange scholarship. It was hard to let their only child leave. At the same time he was here, I won a trip to Europe, and elected to spend a week in his home. When I first met his parents, we were instant family. I too will miss his dad. We can only communicate by gestures and eye contact. I speak little German, and what I do know is an entirely different dialect. She knows no English. Eyes tell a lot. We stayed in her beach condo a few days after the wedding. These were the exact colors, and theme she had used to decorate. I couldn't resist. It's for her. OK, I pretended I was she while I made it. Puzzle solved?
