Is there a kaleidoscope quilt block

I have always loved playing with a kaleidoscope when I was a child and was wondering if the was a quilt block in kaleidoscope that I can make myself a kaleidoscope quilt?

There are kaleidoscope quilts and quilt blocks. The most well known Kaleidoscope block is this one, featured in one of the QB swaps

If you want to get into serious kaleidoscope quilts check out the patterns and techniques and fabrics offered by Paula Nadelstern.

Take a look at the one-block wonder quilts. They are fun to make and not to challenging if the fabric layers are matched when cutting and produce fascinating designs just like the kaleidoscopes. The one I started is still in the UFO stage because I can't decide how to arrange the blocks I've finished but I am sure there are other examples on this board or pinterest.

you may want to look at Mandela quilts, if you want to do some serious piecing instead of using a printed fabric to create most of the design.

check out Ricky Tims Kool Kaleidascope He teaches a technique to make several size different sizes and place in lots of different ways to make quilts. Here's one I made using that technique.

Your standard stack and whack pattern using the 45 degree angle ruler can give you a kaleidoscope design. It all depends on the fabric that you use. This one was done using a balloon print.
