It makes me dizzy too. The fabric is stunning and will make a beautiful quilt.

I am like that with some fabrics also. I always work from the back side. I even quilt them with the backing up.

Haven't read through all the posts but for pressing it might help to cover with a pressing cloth or piece of muslin. No suggestions for cutting other than that already mentioned of cutting on the back. Unless your son would be willing to cut the patches for you.

I would work from the reverse side...but I love the fabrics...mixed in with other fabrics I bet it will be stunning...blessings

I purchased a piece of fabric from Connecting Threads that made me dizzy as well. I got through it some how, but will never purchase fabric like that again.
