Theres a little old lady on youtube.com that occasionally makes a quilt online. Her quilts are unique and different. I purchased the last one she made and its amazing. Even if you don't like art quilts watching her thought process is very interesting to me. She's 81, retired college professor, travels the world, plays the harpsacord and is just amazing. Does she have a real name? I mean, does she sell or show her work under her real name somewhere, either online or not, in a non-video format?

As someone who has taken apart over 300 kimono, my sympathies are with her. ;-)

She is fascinating! Yes a little weird...but aren't we all to some extent? Would love to attend one of her parties to just sit back and watch and listen to her and her friends! I'm loving that quilt...her process to get there is really fun - and thought-provoking - to watch!

i was reading a few of the posts about her video and, apparently her name is Margaret and she is in San Francisco

Margaret Fabrizio is her name and she has a website of her works, she's an artist. You'll need to google her name because I don't have a link.

She invited me to the unveiling of the last quilt, which I bought. But I had vacation planned that week and couldn't go.
She has a few vids of her parties, and they are different.

Her other works are astonishing...the more you look, the more you see. I'll be spending more time on her site and watching her videos!

The one that I purchased isnt on her website, but you can see it on youtube, its the Bali quilt. I think she has let her website fall by the wayside.

Since watching her films, I have made my Fairy Godmother in a far less structured way. It was much more fun too!

I watched all that she has videod on her new quilt-can not wait till tomorrow!

I'm so glad that some of you think she's a neat-o as I do. She just so "different" and lively to be that age. Every video is interesting to me. Some of her early videos are comical. If you get a chance e-mail her, she answers all mail and love to video response while she quilts.

I just love this gal! she has such a different outlook on things you just have to smile and think YOU TO GAL! I was wondering how many views and comments you got on her, I'd love to see everyone here on the board check her out!
