Thread Rack

3 Attachment(s)
My DH has been working hard! I just love the new Thread Rack he made for me. Thread fits perfectly.
The one shown is for 50 spools, he also made me one for 110 spools. Now all I need to do is
get it painted!

sewmary 03-10-2013 05:26 PM

bunniequilter 03-11-2013 04:37 AM

Awesome thread rack, love it.

Jackie Spencer 03-11-2013 04:38 AM

Very nice. Your husband does wonderful work. I bought a pattern for a 36x36 thread cabinet a few years ago. Its so cute, has plexiglass in the door, with wooden yard sticks around it and an old wooden spool for the knob on the door, several shelves for thread. could'nt ever find anyone to make it for me, tho.

owlvamp 03-11-2013 04:40 AM

He did an awesome job.

michelleoc 03-11-2013 05:03 AM

That rack is beautiful. He could TOTALLY sell those!

ksdot417 03-11-2013 05:14 AM

Nilla 03-11-2013 05:22 AM

I just sent this link to my DH (assuming I did it right, I'm not very techy) because this is what I've been wanting in my long arm room. Thanks for the pictures and the idea!

CRELLA 03-11-2013 05:36 AM

Can i borrow him for awhile?

suedonnie 03-11-2013 06:27 AM

Thank you all for looking. They are really nice. He is making them now to sell on e-bay and I have a web page I think I might put them on. Good price I think. He also made me a 110 spool one for my long arm thread or embroidery, not sure which one I will use it for. Maybe he will have to make 2 so I don't have to choose...lol

suedonnie 03-11-2013 06:28 AM

Will keep you posted on how well he does!!

Quiltngolfer 03-11-2013 06:34 AM

Aww that is not true..lol It took me 2 years to finally convince him to do it. So there is still hope..

nabobw 03-12-2013 05:03 AM

very nice he does good work

littlehud 03-12-2013 05:08 AM

He does really nice work. What a great way to have all your thread organized

Canada Kate 03-12-2013 06:16 AM

That's awesome, he obviously put a lot of thought into it. I like the circular cut-outs for the spools to sit in.

craftycancer 03-12-2013 06:18 AM

SandySews 03-12-2013 06:18 AM

Nice cabinet.

Carol34446 03-12-2013 12:50 PM

Heis a keeper.

captlynhall 03-12-2013 02:28 PM

That is perfect. He did a nice job with the indents so the threads have a place to rest, but then are easy to remove. That's thinking ahead.

twinkie 03-12-2013 02:56 PM

That is soooooo nice. Very talented hubby
