Eula Monahan 08-05-2011 05:19 AM

I tried, really tried, to NOT buy. But when it hit 90% off I succumbed!
The small spools were 18 cents apiece, larger spools 24 cents, and the cones were 49 cents!
I bought some one day, then back the next, and next. Finally I went in and bought the remaining Gutterman thread.

This basket is 16" X 24" and better than half full. I spent $100 total for $1000 worth of thread!

Very Lucky Girl!
Enjoy!

GlitzyMe 08-05-2011 05:44 AM

Wow.......Guttermann and Metrosene are the threads I use.....I'd have wiped the display clean. Congratulations!

Me too! I am in need of thread for quilting - I have a large stash for machine embroidering, now that I am sewing (a lot) again, I am finding that my stash of thread that I can use for that is low.

Drew 08-05-2011 05:55 AM

How great is that to be able to take advantage of this sale! You go girl!!

lisalovesquilting 08-05-2011 05:55 AM

Wow, good for you. You will never have to buy thread again! :-D

Owllady 08-05-2011 05:56 AM

I also have a basket for my embroidery thread. Now make a nice cover to throw over it to keep the light out and it will be good for many years. I was not able to get mine at a price comparable to yours. You did good.

Landers 08-05-2011 06:14 AM
