Question...when you tie your knots do you tie each one before you go to the next one or do like the You Tube video & go down the whole row, tie the end off & then tie each one?? thx!

I use embroidery floss it goes quickly and looks fine after washing and washing.

I go accrross the row then snip and tie. A bit wasteful but much quicker than doing each one individually.

I used yarn many, many years ago and each knot turned into a ball of tight yard after washing and machine drying. It must have been wool.

I used ribbon to tie my first quilt. Comes in small packages only a quarter in wide.

I always use pearl cotton, but make sure to tie a square surgeons knot. If you do not know how to make one, google it and there will be instructions on how to tie... jacie
