My thread stash is huge, but I so longarm quilting and most of it is for that. I have to have the colors I need for customer quilts as well as my own.

A friend told me to use grey thread for most sewing of the quilt pieces. Works well!

No my thread stash is not as big as my fabric stash. But it is getting larger since I joined Superiors thread of the month club. I love the thread & all the colors that come every month. I wish I had $$ to join a second club.

No Way do I have much thread, it's really pitiful. I have tons of Coats and Clark thread but my Bernina has a mini-fit if I use it. So I use a great deal of beige and gray for piecing. And if I want to highlight something, then I have to buy one small spool for that.

I have a very large stash of threads.
Right now probably a larger stash than fabric as I do a lot of machine embroidery and art quilts with thread painting. |
