You got lucky!!

Thank you Emma S for the instructions. My frame looks very much like yours with wooden cog tension wheels. I only hand quilted one quilt on it. I may give this a try as there is no way I can get down in the floor and don't have floor space anyway. If I have any other questions I will post them later. Thanks again.

I make mostly Queen size or larger quilts. Used the crafts table from JoAnn's for years and was happy with the results although the weight of moving the quilt around was tiring. Well I found a frame for $30 in a local Thrift store. Just sandwiched the latest quilt using the frame and Elmer's glue. Took me three hours instead of three days and the weight of the quilt is distributed onto the frame so it is much easier on me.

great find! I probably wouldn't know what to do with it if I saw one, lol

Wow I never thought of using a quilt frame for basting! I will have to try to find the bars to my mom's frame.

good for you.

Wonderful find. I have a similar frame that our group has quilted a number of quilts on. We've tried different frames but that one is tried and true. Love that frame!!

Wow! The time savings alone is worth more than $30!

Guess I'll keep the Grace Frame I was going sell, after all. Thanks for the glue baste ideas!
