    Default Thrift store find

I make mostly Queen size or larger quilts. Used the crafts table from JoAnn's for years and was happy with the results although the weight of moving the quilt around was tiring. Well I found a frame for $30 in a local Thrift store. Just sandwiched the latest quilt using the frame and Elmer's glue. Took me three hours instead of three days and the weight of the quilt is distributed onto the frame so it is much easier on me.

Good for you!! I only hope someone will be just as happy as I gave mine away the other day. I had a kit for a hintenberg floor frame that would quilt up to 114 inches wide and an 18 inch standing hoop frame too. Never used either one. Someone was going to buy the kit but never did. my hubby never put the floor frame kit together for me and I later gave up on hand quilting. I still have my Q Snap frame if I need one.

Nativetexan: All I can say is I think about the gifter and wonder about her story. I wish I could thank her in person.
