Soooo glad you got it fixed. Hope you absolutely love it! I've had a Tin Lizzie for about 4 years and upgraded to the Ram about 8 months ago. Let me know if I can help.

I have the RAM, and love the machine, but... If I stop for a minute, or press's stop, I can't get the machine to start sewing again without turning off and back on. There must be a way to wake it back up. Help?

I am trying to decide if l dare take a chance buying the Tin Lizzie Ram. It seems to have a lot of problems and i am nervous about it needing fixes all the time. are you happy now after 3 months using this machine, would you buy it again? Thanks for any help in helping me make up my mind.. lynda

Glad you like your Lizzie Ram. I love mine.

If you search all the quilt boards and groups online, the Tin Lizzie has the most problems posted about. Three guild members have the Tin Lizzie. One works fine, the other two have lemons. All bought from the same dealer. The quality control seems to the biggest problem.

Figured it out. It was my control module for the back handles. Getting a new one, but sews like a dream now!

Well I bought it, it got delivered today and my dealer helped me set it up, she's gone now and I can't remember what to do to get it in lizzie stitch mode. I know how to turn it on! Then I,m lost. I plan on going to the shop in the morning and will write things down the manual didn't help me much.. Must be my age.. Lol. 71' am I too old to learn and remember? Lynda

Called the dealer this morning and took the machine and trays with the encoders on them in to be checked. The technician determined that the wrong cables were included with the encoders. Brought it back home and it works great. The service was wonderful. Tomorrow I will install the leaders and be ready to start quilting.
