Tip to save your ironing surface

I read this tip just recently and thought it was worth passing along. If foundation or paper piecing, ironing over the ink may spread the ink to your ironing surface. To avoid this, iron a piece of freezer paper to the ironing surface first

ok, great tip! but i have a question, does anyone else have a difficult time finding freezer paper? we live in a small town, and even walmart doesn't have it. but if you go into a store like kroger in a much larger town, you have a better chance of finding it.

did you ask the staff at Walmart? my store had it but I didn't see it. it was on the bottom shelf where they sell baggies and other kitchen paper
