Yup. Took a three year hiatus and just did clothes, then came back with a vengeance! lol

You may just need to take a break.

I don't ever find myself tired of quilting, I am finding it very depressing not being able to purchase the fabric I would like. I love bright colors and would love to make some donation quilts with them, but I simply have no money.
Oh, well...One day at a time.

Yes, every spring. Gardening and canning season hit and I'm so busy the though of quilting is a bit overwhelming. I still quilt (longarm) for others, but I don't do much sewing for myself until fall hits again. Then I'm at it nonstop until next spring!

Take a break. Put your stuff away for awhile.

I knit, crochet and scrapbook in addition to quilting. I burnt out on the scrapbooking. I put it away for a year. Still not edge back, so I'm going to finish the two trip books and then pare down my collection of stuff. The thing is, sometimes you lose interest because, well, you have lost interest. Most of the time, you just need your mojo back.

Keep in mind that sometimes depression can affect your whole life including interest in hobbies. Without meds, the average person takes 1-2 years to get out of a depressive funk.

Every now and then. Comes and goes. But, since I do it for my own pleasure, it doesn't bother me.

Yep. been trying to finish one & it feels never ending so I just come here & see everyone else's quilts!

I often think that I have just burnd out but just as soon as summer gets here and schools out I really get the itch again to really get busy

Sometimes absence really does make the heart grow fonder! Take a break and have fun doing something different, even if you have to learn a new hobby. :)

Not burned out but maybe distracted for awhile. Then it is "Get out of my way, I am going to quilt, NOW" LOL

If you get tired of doing quilts, give yourself a break. One day you will get to wanting to start again. Not to worry.

Nope, don't get tired of it. Am tired of everything else interrupting my quilting!
