I have so many hobbies and interests that my teenager insists I am crazy (like teenagers aren't?). I feel I am prepared for life and enjoying every moment of it.

LOL should I add the additional 6 hobbies I do????? Keep learning, it's good for the brain if not the pocketbook. I tend to do one or two projects of one thing, then go to another, etc. Inbetween, there is always a quick gift or project. I would get bored if I stuck with one type of craft or project!

Urgh... let's see... quilting, costuming, jewlery making (mostly for said costumes), crocheting (learning), weaving, cross-stitching, writing, stained glass, resin-casting, soap making, candle making (the last four not so much these days). I have ADD and so I jump from project to project a lot, until I get obsessively into one of them and focus on it to the exclusion of all else.
And I am making yarn dolls for a future project. I need at least 300, and have about 120. Good thing I have time on this one! |
I used to have many different hobbies but after downsizing several times, both in preparation for retirement and then after retirement, I seem to have pretty much stuck to the sewing stuff. I make most of my own blouses, bathrobes, etc, so will probably always do that, but my hands don't work as well anymore so haven't done any crocheting / knitting in about 10 years. Besides, after all that downsizing, we have no room for all the extra stuff! lol
