And I'll be more than happy to let you know what I think of it.

While you're waiting for it, you can read the manual online cover to cover. When it arrives you'll be ready to jump right in. Just don't read the part about threading the needle, watch a YouTube instead, it's way better. Enjoy your new beast!

I just got a Juki for quilting, but it works so much better than my other machine for piecing that it's being used for everything! Love the thread cutter! Love love love that it just sews really well, no bells and whistles I don't need that just make my life more difficult!

I just bought the Singer Futura Quintet. The first one I got I had a lot of trouble with it and had already sold my previous machine. But, I sent it back to HSN and they sent me a new one and it works great. I love it. I can't afford any of the fancy machines, but this one is great for my needs. I sew landscape wall hangings and not the really big quilts for now.

That's exactly what I plan on doing with mine. Everything!! I don't sew anything where I need all of the fancy stitches and such. Just a good quality straight stitch is all I need. Really looking forward to having the thread cutter. :)

I'll take it to a repair shop and see what they say abut it. If it won't cost a fortune to fix it then I'll do that and have a spare. My Juki won't be here until the 25th or 26th. Worst part is I was right in the middle of my Grandson's quilt when the Janome decided it didn't want to work any longer. I have no machine to sew on right now and I'm having withdrawals!!! LOL!!!

I don't believe this! My Janome is sewing beautifully now! My husband and I both looked everything over because it was almost completely locked up! Just decided to sit down and see what happened and it's working good as new. But this gal is keeping her mouth shut because I really want the Juki. ;)

I have the same model Juki and I highly recommend it. It sews beautifully, quilts like a dream, has a large worktable, auto stop in the down needle position, and the thread cutter works from either the machine tower or foot pedal. Also a pressure foot lifter knee bar. Once you get used to these features you get too spoiled to sew without them. Lucky you!
