It may need to be balanced. Also your timing may be off.
In that case you may have to take it to a dealer.

Would love to post a picture...but it would spoil the suprise...this little quilt that has proved such a nightmare is my September dolls swop and it will be winging its way ( hopefully tomorrow) all the way from England, UK to Tasmania....hopefully my partner will post a picture when she receives it........Yesterday I thought it was going in the bin....tonight it is almost finished....by no means perfect but good enough to swop....again cannot thank everyone enough for saving my sanity

I just read this whole thread cause I have a 6600, and have only FMQed a little. I have had the eyelash problem that I wasn't sure how to solve. I wonder what the "blue bobbin case" is - I took the class and there was no mention of this- I have just used my regular bobbin case. Can someone illuminate me?

Go to Day Style Designs Online, and contact Leah Day. She will help you to know what to do. She is an angel with helping problems with free motion quilting. You can call her too. Believe me. She will know the exact answer to your problem. I have the same 6600, and I found that if I go to fast, I get what you are talking about. Please, contact Leah. You will be so glad that you did.

I think I would go to the dealer and ask about it. I can't deal with
something like that.

Glad you got it running without
having to take it into a repair
shop. Hugs, Sharon

It is 11.30pm here in the UK and I haven't managed to get it sew properly since 7pm....had tried everything, cleaning...new needle...new bobbin...different threads but never thought to raise the feed....as I said have just tried it and like magic... perfect tension......thank you, thank you, thank you.

I don't drop the feed dogs when I FMQ I found that I have better control and stitch length than when they were dropped.
